How to ask your mom for pads?

Kay well I had my first period at my dads house like 3 months ago and my mom knows but I dont want to ask for pads and I only have like 20 left from my dads house I need to ask her when I run out but im embarrassed what do I say?

Answer #1

Periods are embarrassing, and I know just like every other female that talking about them is even worse. However, pads are a must, and I’m certain that your mom would be more than happy to buy you some. Like others have said, you can always text her, or leave her a note if you are uncomfortable about saying it aloud.

Answer #2

dont be embarrased every girl goes through it. they wont mind. just ask, nothing will happen.

Answer #3

I dont like talking about it either. but my grandma and mom insist on talking about it. just ask her straight up because every female has their period. chances are if shes no 40 yet shes still having hers

Answer #4

I always text my mom lol I don’t like talking about it either :)

Answer #5

Just come out and say you need some, It’s your parents I’m shore they know your getting older and you need certain things. Good luck. ;)

Answer #6

Just get her on her own & just say it as quick and just don’t think about it. Either that are send her a text saying you need them. Lol. X x x

Answer #7

you could leave her a note on her pillow or send her a text mesage or email!

Answer #8

whenever I go to the store or something.. I just throw a box of tampons or pads in my moms buggie and she has never said anything to me..

Answer #9

At first, I never would ask my mum for pads, I would end up texting her when she was out so she would pick some up and id ask her to leave them in the bathroom out the way, I mean im 16 now, and I still get embarrassed about asking my mum, but either way hun every girl goes through that process in life and you gotta do it ent ya. :) good luck sweetheart xxx

Answer #10

Just tell her you have to have them. It might help if you know the answer to what type/brand/etc before hand. This is a normal thing and your mom shouldn’t think twice about it.

Answer #11

I never I ask my mum I know shes a woman so its normal but I get embarresed so I just grab a few from where she keeps hers. but if I did ask if I was you when shes out at the shops just text her and say ‘can you get me some more pads, thanks’ :]
