How to ask my boyfriend to have a threesome with another guy?

I’m a 20 year old female, and I want to try having a threesome with my boyfriend and another guy. Problem is, I don’t know how to ask him or persuade him to. I haven’t brought this topic up yet. It’s just one of those fantasies that I have. If he agrees to this, would it be best for him to choose the guy, or have me choose the guy?
