how should I get this guy's attention?

ok, there’s this guy john that I have a huge crush on and his locker is next to my friend’s so I’ve been hanging out with her at her locker ever since I started liking john. well friday night, me and john slow danced but im not sure if we danced just because he thought we were friends or because he liked me. there was a group of people including me and john and they were all wanting my phone number and john handed me his phone so I could put myself in his contacts so I guess that means he wanted 2 call me. I was waiting by his locker and he said hi then the next time I saw him he said hey again then the next day we talked for a second and thats about it. I have tried really hard 2 get him 2 look my way or have a REAL conversation with me so we can become friends then maybe become more but how could I make him REALLY look at me and say something? PLEASE help me!!! I will love you forever!! (:

play hard to get, kinda hint that you have a thing for him, but dont wait for him to notice like that…gotta step up and let yourself be known
