How safe I am, after taking ECP ?

Hi, I had s*x with my partner on 16th day (after frst day of my last period), the condm had borken, so I took an ipill (ECP) within an hour. I am due my period, but its casuing me stress that whether did it work ? will I get my normal periods ? omg so worried… pls suggest

well I had to take one once and it worked …it should have worked for you expecialy cause you used it soon, your period might be a little late because of the ecp messing with horomones but the rest of your period should be fine after this one …if you end up over 3 wks late got to the doc to get checked, good luck

Did you get a period a few days after taking the pill? If you did it means that it worked.

Also you might not get your period the regular time this month, because the morning after pill can interfere with that. I suggest that if you do not get your period as expected, to take a pregnancy test (just to reassure yourself).

Well, I got periods today, seem like normal ones But they are very light…bleeding but not that heavy as alws…Is it normal period…or spotting or imp. bleeding… I feel its normal…I got this after like 9 days of taking it…but this is time when I ws expecting my usual periods which is actually 25th day… is that normal but then why its so light and not using my full napkn ?
