How much weight should a 15 year old lift?

people say rest days after working out so your musles can stretch…in that resting period would it be a ise idea to do push us? sit ups ? lunges? jacker hammers an more?

w a t 3 are I think you forgot to mention how huge you are. that is a misleading thing to say to lucan because he wud think he supposed to do that much. lucan, w a t 3 are duz that much weight because hes probably 250lbs and 6 foot 5

I weigh like 160 im about 180cm’s tall and I do 50 on each arm with 6kg weights.ican bench press 100 only lols and yea .so I just wanted to know like if im over doin it or not . thnx for all the feed back.thnx for all the advice :)

Find your max( Weights you can only lift once and no more) and thats how much you can lift. My MAx Right now is 155.

ooo nice question… you shud take rest days. depending on how you feel you can do a light workout on your rest days to avoid overtraining your muscles which will give you nothing. age doesnt matter when it comes to what you weigh. it depnds on your body and your strength..at 15 I was benchin 155 max and I weighed 120. but I have always been slim and muscular so you need to find out what you can lift.

There’s no number anyone can give you as to how much weight you should lift. That depends on your size, bondy type, and overall physical condition. I’m a young adult but very slener. Although I am in good shape in the sense of being toned and firm, I can’t bench press more than about 100 pounds - on a good day - which makes me pretty weak for a guy my age. At 15 you can probably already do more than that so, you see, it depends on the person. I can do other things, though, like running.

If you work out with weights a lot I recommend that on in between days you do cardio fitness, like walking, running, bicycling, etc.
