How much is this money worth???...

I have a 1000$ French Dollar that was given to me by my grand father . he obtained this during WW2. I was going to sell this to a collecter or perhaps a museam. What would be a basic Price?? … I dont want to get ripped off.

Ask them how much they would pay and go to different places and ask. Why would you though? If your grandfather got it in ww2 don’t you think it has memories for him and he wants you to save it and give to your children so they can give it to theirs and so on and so forth? Did he tell you that you can sell it?
