How much does it cost for laser eye surgery?
how much does it cost for lazer eye surgery?and how old do you have to be in order to take it?( I heard you have to be at least in your 40’s)
Corrective eye surgery can be done on anyone who’s eyes have stopped growing an developing, I understand that in general they won’t do it on anyone less than 20 years old. But the younger you are, the better - younger eyes are able to recover quicker, and also don’t take as long to do (something to do with the age & toughness of the area that is getting burnt off). So, the older you are, the more it costs, and also if you are older (I think over 40 perhaps) they start recommending you only have 1 eye done at a time, rather than giving you the option of having both done at once.
One of my friends at University got it done just last week. He is like 23-24 types. But his power was 8 point !! I think in extreme cases, age is not a criterion.. He can see alright now.. it cost him like approx $900 (incl. hospital bills, medicines etc)
My nan got it done for £375 per eye she says it was amazing
