How monthly payments work?

Ok I want to get a pgo 250 dune buggy for me and my little brother. I make 400 every 2 weeks. How would I go about making monthly payments on it? Like do I sign something and then give them first months payment or what? And do I pay the store where I get the dune buggy from or what?

so I dont have to get a loan or anything and then pay the lender? I thought thats how it works? so I get to pay the 10% and take the dune buggy home and make monthly payments? and are they going to do a credit check type thing? cuss I dont have any credit.

ok, yes you pay the store youll probably need to put it on layby, so ask if they do that if they do, theyll need a deposit in which case youll need to give them usually around 10% of the total amount of the buggys price ask them how often you need to make payments on it theyll most likely give you a receipt, keep it and bring it back everytime you go to make another payment make sure you have a good amount of money to put aside for every month is you decide to cancel the layby theyll charge you, sometimes even up to 50% of the price so ask them about cancelling it as well, just ask lots of questions
