how many weeks??

technically how many weeks AFTER you have sexual intercourse, are you considered pregnant?

also, how many weeks after sex will you start see signs of pregnancy?

You are technically pregnant at conception. This can be the same hour you have sex, it can be the same day, or it can be up to two days AFTER you have intercourse. Conception is sperm meeting and fertilizing egg. Cells begin to separate/multiply- magic starts to happen. Implantation occurs anywhere from 3-11 days after conception (fertilization). That is where the embryo implants itself along the uterine wall.

Because ovulation occurs about 2 weeks before conception usually happens, that is when they count the start of the pregnancy. So the day you have sex, if you conceive, you’re already considered 2 weeks pregnant.

Showing is different for everybody. I had a tiny bump at 10 weeks that looked like I was a bit bloated. At 14 weeks most could tell I had a bump, though it was not a discernable ‘baby’ bump. At 14 weeks my sister-in-law looked definitely pregnant, and looked months further along than she actually was. It all depends on your body, your uterine position, size of the amniotic sac, etc… I do believe the average for showing is 3.5 months though. Once you begin to outgrow your clothes people start to notice. :)

ohkay, thanks (: I had sex two weeks BEFORE my period. EXACTLY, and I still didn’t get it, and as of today it’s exactly a week late. though I don’t know if it’s coincidence or not..

Answer #3

I’d also say if your taking a pregnacy test make sure you wait till a week or more after you normally get your period if you want good results but the blood test is the most accurate

Answer #4

your pregnant right from the day that you got pregnant and pregnancy symptoms dont start showing untill a few months in to find out if your pregnant take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after you had sex (any sooner and the results won’t be accurate) in the morning with your first pee is the best time and take it when your period is due alternatively, see a doctor for a blood test this will both let you find out quicker and give you more accurate results
