How Long To I Have To Rinse My Mouth?

HAHA, WOW Wierd Title. Well Ok I Just Got My Monroe Pierced 2 Fridays Ago. ANd Its So Annoying To Keep Rincing My Mouth After Everytime I Smoke, Eat, Drink, Kiss My Boyfriend Or Do Anything Sexual ETC. How Long Do I Have To Keep Doing This… Its Healing Fine.. Ill Post The Picture Now

I don’t know if this help but a few months ago I got my tongue pierced. I got it pierced in a great place, and the guy who pierced it said that I could smoke, eat etc without having to rinse my mouth afterwards and that I just had to rinse it 2 times a day. I don’t know if this will help because their different piercings. But my tongue healed perfectly without rinsing it all the time :)

Until it’s healed - 3 months.

You need to do clean it every time you eat, smoke, or drink something. I know it’s annoying, but it’s better than having an infected piercing or having your body reject it.

No it should be the same - I’m not sure why the guy told you that you didn’t have to. In our shop we tell every person that get’s a mouth piercing that they need to clean it every time they eat, drink, kiss, etc.

I would like to recommend that you avoid oral sex until the piercing is healed; over stimulation is not a good thing, and another person’s bodily fluids could transmit infection.
