Answer #1

Stuffed Roast Duck

you will need:

1 duck, the normal size is about one pound per person, 3 cups of bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon of sage, ½ cup of chopped onion, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion salt, 1 stalk of chopped celery, 1 egg, 1 cup of chicken broth, ¼ cup of melted margarine and 6 slices of bacon.

To prepare your recipe for cooking duck you need to pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, pour in the bread crumbs, sage, onion salt, garlic powder, celery, and onion, mix together. After the ingredients are well blended, in a separate bowl mix together the water, egg and margarine, pour this mixture over the dry mixture and stir together.

If you do not think the dressing in moist enough add just a bit more water. Lightly stuff the duck with the dressing. Place the bacon strips on top of your duck and hold in place with toothpicks. Bake your duck for around 1 ½ to 2 hours. Be sure not to overcook or it will be dry.
