How long before you can't have kids?

How long do you have to have chlamydia untreated before you will not be able to have kids??? Lil kids please don’t reply to this like you know.. Doctors or some sort like that if you would.please let me know something

Chlamydia can turn into Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) if you do not treat it, and this is what will cause the infertility as a side effect. Generally if it has evolved into this then you would be in a fair amount of pain and would know. The best thing to do is go to the doctor as soon as possible. Chlamydia treatment is fairly straightforward, and you can discuss the side effects there and be examined and such, so you know just how likely it is that you may be infertile.

The time honestly does differ in different people, so as long as you get regular tests for STIs and then treat them as soon as you are aware they are there, then hopefully you will find you have not got any long term reprecussions.

It doesnt work that way. It’s not like there’s a set time before it causes sterility. Chlamydia can cause Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, which causes sterility by scarring and blocking the tubes. There’s no set time for when and if PID is caused, and how long it takes PID to affect a person.
