How long after birth can I deflea?
My dog gave birth 41 days ago and she’s got fleas. So the puppies have them too. One of the little girls has a sore spot behind her ear and I’m concerned about it causing some sort of hair loss. What treatment do you suggest or can I give my six week old pups deflea treatment. For example advantage,ect. I also have this flea shampoo. Whatever the answer is, is fine but I need some kind of idea… Thank you very much for your time.
Don’t give them any treatment - they’re too young.
You’ll have to use a flea comb and remove the fleas that way…anything else can be harmful to them.
