How, is whistling at a Girl a turn off?

When guys whistle at me, I immediately think, What a loser!! Girls are not dogs! Don’t whistle at them just to get their attention!! I hate that..but I guess it depends on the girl..because some might think it’s lame while others might like it, ya know? So yeah..

I would see it as a turn off AND id be offended pluck up the courage and try to get the attention of the girl by saying hello or by smiling at her

I love when guys whistle at me, buut, the guys who do whistle at me I immediatly think that they are a player, and they do that to a lot of other girls, just because they want to meet more girls and get more action, so I like when guys whistle, buut I would never really want to get to know that guy, hope that helps a little

A while ago I imagine it would have been a nice feeling with the attention but now it has a negative aspect. When a guy whistles now girls mostly think its mocking and the guy is just looking to hook up with the girl nothing more. It is especially disgusting if a guy is with his friends and whistles and the friends kinda laugh or look at the girl. It is just not a great feeling. Gotta be very careful if you whistle at a girl. yea I agree.. kinda implies you think the girl is like a dog, can be ordered around and will adore you just because you payed her attention.
