How important is the body to you girls out there?

basically, I place a lot of importance on how I look.. probably 1000 times more than a normal guy, which makes me sorta metro.. but either way.. I just wanted to know the opinions of girls on it. (I work out atleast three times a week, Im convinced that the little fat I do have is totally repulsive, and if I was to gain like a pound of fat.. I wouldnt take my shirt off… terrible or worth it?)

dude I think its fine to want to look good, for yourself and for the ladies… I know some lads in my class and a year below that are naturally skinny and have 6 packs.. and the girls generally go for them. but I think its good to want to look good. I do the same basically, I work out “hardcore” once a week and do stuff every night, and eventho people say I look fine I still think I need to improve. just make sure you don’t push people away from doing too much excersizing. keep it up tho mate! its always good. remember man NO PAIN NO GAIN!

It’s one thing to be concerned with your health and well being and quite another to be plain obsessed with your looks. If you value an active lifestyle and enjoy keeping yourself physically fit, there’s nothing wrong with that. You may be naturally tan from hiking or running outdoors, have a healthy lean body, and like to wear your hair in a casual ‘windswept’ way. That doesn’t mean to achieve the same look you should fry yourself in tanning beds, starve yourself and work out compulsively or spend three hours in front of a mirror carefully arranging every strand of your hair to make it look ‘windswept’ when you’ve spent the whole day on the couch watching tv. What I’m saying, I guess, is that girls like guys that are themselves. Personally, looks matter very little to me. Your hot body and perfect hair may make a girl look, but it won’t be the only thing that keeps her around. Hair turns grey and falls out, your weight changes, wrinkles appear and physical beauty fades. What matters to most girls is your personality, the way you make them feel and the common interests and level of compatibility you share. While your outside may be near perfection, concentrate on your inside, the kooky side of yourself that can make a girl laugh, the sweet side of you that has a way with words that can make a girl feel safe and cared for…soon you’ll realize looks aren’t everything and you’ll be much easier on yourself and a lot happier. =)

I guess looks does have a role. But if a guy is a jack*ss nobody’s gonna wanna date him, even if he is fit. Personality is what matters the most, though it may sound cliché its true.

Answer #5

I care about looks to a certain extent. There has to be some physical attraction to begin with. That’s what first draws me to a person sometimes. However, that is being a liitle obsessive and if you don’t be careful it could lead to an eating disorder down the road.

Answer #6

I do care about looks!Theyre really important! But dont be too obsessed!xD

Answer #7

To be honest, from my point of view, I don’t like my men with lots of muscles and six packs and all that stuff, because it makes me feel intimidated and almost like I’m not worthy of him. So I would feel compelled to be fit aswell. I just like them not fat, but not skinny. Okay, a six-pack is nice. but all the arm muscles and that is horrible. x

Answer #8

It depends on the girl. Some are really obsessed with the way someone looks, but the girls that are worth it don’t care what you look like but how you treat them

Answer #9

I honestly dont care what a boy looks like. I care about how he would treat me and if he would be able to handle me. Looks are the last thing on my mind.

Answer #10

Honestly if you find a girl who is only first looking at how you look, then you need to look again. Looks shouldn’t be that important to you, unless you are into modeling or something of that nature. You seem to work out a lot, which is healthy, but don’t forget that your diet is what really makes you look good, and will later on benefit you when you get older. Don’t worry about it so much.
