How important is politics in your life?

I know this system doesn’t work world wide, but in places where there are conservatives and liberals, how strongly do you feel about your values? Do you think it stops you from being friends with someone who doesn’t share the same beliefs? If you’re conservative would that stop you from having a relationship or maybe even marrying a liberal (or vice versa)?

Answer #1

It’s important for me, even though I can’t vote yet and I’m only sixteen.

But, I’ve found out how a few of my friends see other races. I’ve lost all respect for one of my friends because she feels that all blacks and “illegals” do is sit on their as* all day..

Answer #2

Very important because not only our lives are affected but our children and grandchildren’s lives will also depend on decisions made today.

Answer #3

Politics actually takes a back burner in my life.

I don’t vote - my choice, since it puts me in a position of judgement and it is actually against my religion to judge. I do fail myself in that aspect often, but politics is one part of my life where I don’t have to try not to place judgement - I just refuse to get involved.

Answer #4

Not very imporat at all. Its just secret drama and adds tension between people.

Answer #5

Answer #6
