I always make sure that I never keep my boyfriend from his friends but sometimes he just takes it too far…like this week his parents are out of town so hes gonna be hanging with the boys most of teh time which is all cool with me, but on sat nit we were supposed to have some alone time and I was gonna spend teh night and watch dvds and stuff, but now he tells me that a couple of his friends are coming over so he doesnt think I can spend the night and he wants to change his plans. so which brings me back to my question, how far is too far???

Friends are important… but so is your relationship. Its totally understandable that he wants to spend time with his friends, but he should be sharing his time out between you and his friends. I think me and my boyfriend have got a good ratio. He comes over on a Wednesday night and we hang out and then he goes home at about 10pm. He comes up on the next day and spends the night. He then has friday night to himself. We then spend saturday together and he stays until sunday evening. Its just working out what is best for your and your boyfriend. You need to explain to him that you are his girlfriend and you need and deserve some time alone with him. Maybe he will then try to share his time out a bit more and then maybe both of you will be happier. Good luck.

what sort of guy blows blows off alone time with his girlfriend to be with his mates : /???

I totally agree that you need to spend time together and time with your friends, but to me that scale tips more in favor of the relationship over friends.

I agree talk to him, explain that you understand time with his mates is important but you feel he is neglecting your relationship.
