How does a male decrease his sex drive?

All right. I’ve finally got control of my life: going to college, full time job(just got my first pay check), and seem to be getting along with my family for the first time in years. but the one thing that I don’t have control over from my teenage years is my libido. now, before I get people coming in here saying “masturbate”, “watch porn”, and all the other mainstream garbage, I need you to listen to the following: I was a porn addict. believe it or not, it is possible, and far more common than you would think. and this is something I determined for myself, not because someone found out and made fun of me. all it has done for me is waste time and ruin relationships, both familial and romantic.

I have managed to quit touching myself and watching porn for up to a year at a time(roughly), but something always happens that eventually stresses me to my breaking point, like events in the past 5 months. and even during periods when I had quit, my sex drive always seemed to be something I had to keep on a tight, chain-linked leash when I was in a relationship. not that I’m celibate, but I have an extremely high sex drive, even for my age. I have been doing research into various herbs and supplements to determine what I can use to take off the edge, and I have found beta sitosterol and true black liquorice to commonly reduce testosterone levels in many men. I am thinking about trying both of these, in moderation and for pre-determined periods of time, in order to prevent any harm to myself.

Does anyone have any more tips or suggestions for lifestyle habits and supplements to help me? thanks in advance.
