how do you no if ready for sex?

how do you know if your ready for sex? I have been with my boyfriends for 11 months and he has asked me to have sex but im sure what to do can anyone help and give me advice?

only you will know when you are ready, For me it was not planned ahead of time, like when, where, and what time. It just happened and I allowed one thing to go to the next level and it works itself out. I was 16 about 2 months shy of being 17. And I was ready.

eventhough people say ‘’if u’re not sure then u’re not ready blah blah blah…’’ it’s wierd. every girl is not sure for the first time just forget aaot everything let hm lead

My dad has sex talks with me, and he simply said “Don’t be afraid to ask for Birth Control” and he said “You know your ready when your not afraid or think it’s awkward to talk to your parents” Soo yeah.
