One I’ve used for years is washing my face with warm water, and applying a thin layer of tea tree lotion to my face. Tea tree is a natural antiseptic, so it cleans things up nicely (even if it smells a bit nasty).

toothpaste will help dry it out… if you are talking about blemishes. I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “spots” if it is you should invest in some proactiv… the first step is all that you need. I used to have a bad problem and now I don’t have any blemishes at all and I stopped using it for the past month and I still have clear skin.
