How do you make a banana smoothie without a blender?

I really have a craving for a banana smoothie, but my blender broke and there is no way to get a new one for a while. So, is there any possible way that I could make a banana smoothie without a blender? Do I just . . . Get a banana and some ice cream and just mash it together? Hahah that would be fun.

Answer #1

Okay…do you have a hand blender? or is that the one that broke? umm… how about you mash the banana first with a fork and then then use a whisk to mix in the other ingredients…but do all of this in a LARGE bowl.

I use a sledge hammer. . . . . . . Make sure your walls are clean since you’ll be wiping everything off the walls into your cup. . .

If you have a rolling pin and a zip lock bag, chop banana and put in the bag, seal it just leaving a bit of an opening for air to escape then roll flat with pin, and carry on rolling til mushy, then mix with milk etc. Do the ice like saint says above.

Answer #8

here is the best way

Take your bananas, Milk, ice cubes, a plastic baggie, something hard with a flat surface to smash the ice, a pitcher or a large mixing bowl.

Take the Bananas and peel them, mash them with your fingers (clean your hands first) and seperate them into small pieces, very small pieces. Put that in Bowl or pitcher. Pour in your milk. Then take the ice cubes, put them in a baggie. Crush them with a large text book or whatever, you do not want to puncture the baggie since you may have to repeat to get the right ammount of ice. Keep beating away at them until its very small pieces. Add and mix to milk and bananas, there you go. If you don’t want to use milk, then use more bananas and ice.
