How do you know when a guy best friend like you?

I don’t know how to tell! I like him though.He’s a best friend so I hand out with him a lot,and he knows personal info-of course.Also he is dating another one of my best friends.But he told me he wants to break up with her.What am I suppossed to do? Also he knows I like him,but he’s the kind of guy who has low self-esteem.So he isn’t really brave to where he would just ask me out if he liked me.please help me!

Ok,its me again. Well I have a problem,he’s going to a different school than I am. Even though he was suppossed to go to the same school I did. What do I do know? He’s leaving next year,but the school year is almost over. //.Y

You need to first let him break up with your friend. Then continue talking to him and in about as long as it takes to make sure he is over her and you wont be a rebound…talk to him about it. internet is an easy way to do but just ask do you like me. or say I really like you…something along those lines. Trust me it will most likely work out. my best guy friend was super shy and had low self-esteem and now we have been going out for a year and a few months :) Good Luck! oh and whatever happens dont force it…he might need time to come around to the idea of dating you and he wont want to ruin the friendship he has with you
