How do you know if you are eligible for a HARDSHIP license?

Ok, I don’t know if I am eligible for a hardship license or not. My mom is disabled and has fluid build up in the back of her knees like everyday, and my dad works full time and is barely ever home and when he is home he has 2 sleep. I am 17, I have never had drivers ed, but I do know how to drive. I live in Texas and I am in Band, Theater, and a lot of other educational programs that requires me to stay after school…

Personally.. I think you do.. go see if you can go get urself a lisence!
