how do you help prevent from burning your hair when straightening it?

I straighten my hair everyday and I know no matter what its going to burn but is their anyway to help it from burning as much?

Answer #1

ha thanks yea I’ve heard of the heat control but I didnt know if it actually worked

Answer #2

tresemme thermal recovery shampoo, conditioner, straightening gel, and protective mist (basically the whole line) works wonders both repairing damaged hair and protecting your hair from heat, plus its inexpensive. just do as the directions instruct and wait about two weeks for you burnt hair to be healthy again.

Answer #3

I comb it after I get out the shower so do it before too? and I thought straightening it while its wet or damp makes it burn more?

Answer #4

You can get some heat contorl stuff at wal-mart that designed for that, it works really well, I straightn my hair all the time. So hopefully that will help you, INFO: Do not straightn your hair while its wet, thats the worse thing you could do. It burns it more because its also drying it at the same time. :]
