How do you get over boredom?

I have had nothing to do all weekend and im super bored now so does anyone have anything thats fun to do and maybe even free?

I was always a weird kid growing up. One of my favorite hobbies was cooking. Possibly bake a cake and decorate it. Myself I cook, and experiment. even to this day I invent new burgers, pasta dishes and even try to recreate stuff I have eaten at restaurants. Its not free but a lot of the time you actually have all the ingrediants to make something from scratch already in your cabinets.

Whenever my kids would come to me complaining of boredom, I’d quickly show them an entire list of chores that need doing - they’ve since learned to stop complaining :)

Do you not have any hobbies? Maybe read a book or watch a movie…?
