How do you feel about people who copy you.

I find it funny you are bothered by this person. who really cares. you are an individual. but at the same time you are buying watches like other people. get a different hobby if its that bothersome. this person is a conforming individual. his collection if you think about it is different from others cause he has things others do. and who is to say he really does. just take a chill pill bud.

well that means that person likes their style. just be happy about it. if it gets really annoying, tell that person to stop.

I don’t feel bothered or even feel bad about it… there are people who seemed to be naturally adventurous, trusts others’ taste or somethin, that they’d wanna try out what others have picked… there are some that does emulate style of somebody else, to feel being “in style”, like what most of us do with our fave celebrity… there are some (which is in minimal number I’m sure) that copies someone else’s style to make fun of that person’s style (like eminem on one of his music videos that copies jessica simpson and makes fun out of her skanky style, and pink on her music video “stupid girls” who loves to make fun out of the olsen sisters)… they have their own reasons why they do that… be happy that a person appreciates other’s style, especially if it’s your style that is being phraised by others, and even is being copied by some… it only means that you rock it good out there…

Believe me when he joined he only had one watch in his collection, It was not until he became moderator that he started to copy some people. For example I posted a watch I was wearing in the what are you wearing thread and I remember him saying he did’nt like it but I as soon as he seen it , He bought one a few weeks later. It’s not just the cheap brands he also say’s he want to buy a Rolex, Omega and even other highend brands. I know he’s not rich because I’ve seen his profile. He’s even gone as far as opening a second credit card just to buy new watches just so he can have what other people have. Arrghhh.

It doesn’t bother me. We have all copyied someone at some time. It human nature. My one friend has been a “copy cat” since we were in 5th grade. I am glad she likes my style, I find it flattering. We all see things on tv, in magazines, on the internet, on the streets, that we all say “wow that’s cool” that’s how trends start. A trend is a bunch of people liking the same thing. Yes some people won’t like it and still jump on the band wagon. Or will say that’s stupid and have the item or whatnot two weeks later saying it is awesome. People are quick to judge things.

It drives me bonkers, I know this girl she fancies whoever I fancy at the same time, she buys the same stuff as me and if I say something she says it too even if she doesn’t mean it. Lol it’s sooo annoying ! x

It’s a tad bit annoying. It’s fine if they like what someone has and they go get it, but when people get it just because someone else has it, that’s annoying. My cousin went with me to get my tongue pierced, and after I got it, she decided to get hers done, and she was saying she hated it, but wouldn’t take it out. :/
