How do you cover scars?

I am going on vacation soon and have scars from cutting. What will help me hide it without wearing long sleeved shirts?

well I had the same problem and tanning seemed to help reduce the appearance of the scars. also try some waterproof foundation / concealer.

another thing that helps reduce the appearance is vitamin e. it will take a while to see a difference but it helps. also keep the area very hydrated. use a scar vanishing cream or a lotion with aloe and vitamin e in it.

see a doctor for more info tho. with deep cuts thats really hard to hid. my friend has raised bumps from that. those have to be removed via sugary.

Foundation can be a good idea but it depends on what kind of holiday you’re going on - beach one? It will wash off and I am not sure about spots apearing. I would advise you to go to a pharmacist and get one of those stretch marks/scar vanishing cream - it won’t do it automatically but it will over time.

Bracelets are brilliant ideas - whether you are male or female it looks totally cool, especially on a holiday - so if you feel embarrassed who is ever going to bump into you again when you are back home, they will be back home!

To be honest, you shouldn’t feel ashamed of your scars, everyone goes through something - I have scars but it is a part of me now because it symbolises what I have had to go through and how well I am doing now but last resort option is transferrable tattoos (wash off ones)
