Call a meeting (being up-front) - tell them you love each other very much - have a ring and a date - ask for their love and support moving forward - this would be enough to swallow initially, so maybe you could mention the baby later - anyway, an idea….I wish you the best !!

The marriage is about you and your boyfriend. I know it’s hard when the families don’t get along but you have the right to be happy and to share love with someone as well as have a family(despite what your parents might feel). I think your boyfriend is right, you have to just confront them. Don’t ask permission, no explanation is needed, you love each other you and you will be getting married in July.

I think you should wait until the 3 month mark to tell your parents about the baby, that way they will have time to digest the marriage and then they might be more open to the baby. Also, it might be less stressful for you since you need time to digest all the changes too.

I also think that if your families aren’t able to be civil together then you should avoid putting them together in the same room. This seems overly stressful to me but maybe you rather they find out at the same time.

Good luck and have a wonderful wedding!
