How do I tell my Mom I'm having sex?

its not that easy to just tell her. my mom is that kind of person that have moods that go up and down. one minute she can will be happy and the next she will be mad about something. I dont know how to tell her without her gettn mad…what should I do?

well if she had you at a young age it is understandable, and very smart that you inform her, even if she might flip, so at least you will be having safe sex. :]

Yes I think you should just come out with it and tell her. You never know she might be pleased that you have come to her to ask. You obviously want to be safe and don’t want to feel that you have to keep it a secret from your mum. She might be pleased to know that you can trust her and pleased to know that you are having safe sex.. especially as she had you at a young age.

Ask her about her young age, about that time when she was 16 and in love, and gradually make that sense you want to tell her something important. And if she does not ask anything about your sxual life, you may tell her the reality without any apprehension. And the other possibility is that you may ask your father how to treat your mother in this respect. I think if you father is okay with your life, your mother will not say or feel any bad. Usually fathers are more upset when their dauthers start making sx, and mothers are the appreciative/protective. So go ahead.

Okay, I would just tell them… trust me there going to be upset at first but they will get you birth control they dont want you to make the same mistake they did… not meaning this in a bad way but havin a baby at a young age sucks … just use protection babies are hard work and a lot of money. so just tell them.
