How do I stop overeating?

I eat too much. I even overeat when I’m sick, and have no appetite.

I eat 5000 calories a day :’( And I’m 5”2, 128 pounds- and only 13!!! I was 108 2 months ago and now I eat until I feel sick. I don’t throw it back up, because I know how bad that is for you- but I know how bad binging is, too!

Please don’t say to eat more meals, or drink more water, or get out of the house, cause I’ve tried all of that, and it never works for me!

I just need a way to make it easy to avoid food- it’s already very hard.

So what can I do???

binging or overeating is usually caused by an emotional problem. you have to find out what that is and deal with it. I saw an eating disorder therapist for 7 mth and it helped me find out why I have my eating disorder. although unfortunatly nothing has helped me stop the eating disorder yet. :( good luck.

Find something you dont like to eat.But make sure it is healthy food.Eat that everyday.And im sure you’ll soon get bored and stop eating those stuffs.^^

Have you considered that you might have a physical problem? Your body goes through a lot of changes around puberty. Visit your family doctor and see if perhaps some simple tests are in order. If your thyroid gland or some other hormones are out of whack, a simple pill might be all you need.

I read all the other answers, I have the same eating problem and a bad stomach to go with it so a lot of fruits and veggies are out of the question. carbs are so soothing. I tried the new alli diet pill but I stayed in the bathroom. you are too young to be saddled with that problem . when you find a solution email chattykathy please.

I know how you feel I have the same problem I just cant stop eating ! I’ve tried everything! nothing ever works

eat stuff that make you full but has less calories such fruits and vegetables also drink lots of water
