How do I sign in to msn when it keeps coming up with an error code?

Ok so, I’m trying to sign into msn, and it keeps coming up with error code “80048820” and above it, it says “signing into windows live messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavaliable. Please try again later.” and then I can eigther “troubleshoot, retry, cancel” I clicked troubleshoot, and it said there was a problem with the wireless, and I clicked repair and then that little window closed and I tried to sign in again and I got the box with the options again, this has probably happend to a lot of people, so, please help, any advice that will help is usefull.

Ok thanks, but I don’t know how to do all that with the firewalls and the unblocking ect.

Theres a few possibilitys that I might know, if its just some kind of issue, firstly check to see if it somehow got blocked by firewall or something, You can also see if you somehow got pop3 blocked that would stop it from working too. it could be some kind of issue with msn itself too so hard to say, but try and google the error code, sometimes it can give you an answer on how to fix it too. :)
