how do I set links?

ok, so on a lot of these questions, people set links to other sites, like this “here” and then that wil be blue, and you can click on it, how do I make one of thoes?

Links on the site are all plain text, unless it’s posted by an advisor, we do that to prevent abuse.

If you want to edit your profile, you can add a link there that will be clickable as well.

HTML is not allowed in answers but to make a link in HTML type | | then type in something here that will appear like Google Mail! then type
type it without the | so just … without the spaces.
