How do I obtain an ip address from a router?
Im trying to connect to xbox live and it says it cant obtain an ip address from my router?
You can try visiting OEM site for the instructions
Your router should be set to DHCP so that it generates an IP for each connection.
You might also have issues with WPA or WEP. If so, you will need to enter the code into the xbox.
You can reset your router and modem and try to connect ,it may obtain ip address.Otherwise you can get help from your ISP.You can check ip address using this site http://www.ip-details.com/
