How do I make my parents go to church with me?

I wish my parents would go to church with me ..but they always making lousy excuses…the only time they’d go is if I ‘m playing a talking donkey or a whale..I think they do that on purpose just to cam record me making a fool of myself in public…and THEIR the only parents that gets shhhd at for giggling so loud!Grrr!Embaressing me Maa Paa!

I just wished I could take them to a bible study or church service..I mean they very important to me..I mean letting people know about Jesus is important but I usually tell them if they ask but when it comes to my parents…thats a different thing…I love them to death and I don’t want them to die and not know Jesus.SO it’s kind of a desperate attempt.

Any suggestions??

yu cant make them go but eventually if yu keep asking and see how important it is to yu then they will probably try and go because thts what happened to me and my family wanted the relationship I had with jesus. it will eventually rub off on them.

I don’t know devin.

I’ve had people die in my family. obviously, Everyone has. but as for going to church to pray for em. I don’t know. I mean, I’ do believe in god and all that. but I havent been to church since I was like… 8? maybe 10. (and I had been forced to go) I’m 19 now. and havent gone. But to the point. I dont go to church and wont go either for the praying. I’ Pray in the way that I Want too. In my Bedroom. sitting against the wall where it says “U.S.M.C” praying to make the dead loved-ones Proud by Enlisting.

Cant really MAKE someone do something they dont wanna do. I know that aint really helpful. but it is true… hell you could talk to them, sit them down and go “Listen. We need to talk. Seriously.” and talk to them about it.

Just dont… OVER do it. I’m sure everyone would agree with me when I say that It’s Annoying to hell when someone wont stop with the religious talk. or is that just me…?

Answer #7

Agreed with ceno, unfortunately there isn’t much you can do about your parents not wanting to go to church. The more you nag them, the less the chances are that they would want to go.
