How do I locate music on my itunes, so it syncs to my ipod?

All of my music on my itunes, when you click on it a box appears saying that ‘the file can not be found, would you like to locate file?’ And the song will come up with a ! and it won’t sync to my ipod or play on the computer. I have tried to locate the files but I have no idea how too, if anyone could help me and write me a guide on what to do it would be a massive help, its driving me mad! Thanks :)

If your iTunes can’t locate the file, you either moved it’s folders, deleted it or changed the name of the file.

You should know where the music files are on your hard-drive. What folders they are in and etc… So you click on locate file, and it’ll open up your computer menu, just find the file wherever you have it click it and it’ll change.

If all your files are coming up as they can’t be located, then it’ll be easier to just delete all the music off of you iTunes and upload it all again.
