How do I know if this guys likes me?

Okay, so I REALLY like this guy in my orchestra class. [[I’m 15 and he’s 16 btw]] and lately, I’ve caught him looking at me; like, he’ll be looking at me when I’m not looking, and when I look at his direction when he’s looking, he looks away. And he’s been trying to make me smile and laugh every time we’re hanging out together; and when we do hang out, he’ll laugh and smile a lot; mainly when I smile and laugh too.. AND every time we have orch rehearsal, he waits with me and keeps me company while I wait to get picked up; and when I do, it seems like he gets sad [[I don’t know if that part makes sense]] and that’s when he leaves to go home. And two of my friends told me that he likes me because he’s not usually bubbly and outgoing, like when he’s around me. apparently, around people, he’s usually really quiet. And honestly, I don’t wanna believe what my two friends told me because the last time I did that [[with other friends; not the two I mentioned]], I made a COMPLETE fool of myself and I don’t want that to happen again… and the thing is, I’ve only had one boyfriend total; so I don’t have much experience and I really SUCK at reading body language and stuff like this… so please help!!
