Hello all, So I met this girl online and we went on a date a few days ago.We ended up talking for about 4 hours about some pretty random stuff, but we didn’t quite hit it off but I did enjoy her company.Kinda reminded me of myself,except as a woman and a lot prettier. Anyways, so she mails me today with “Hi, I just wanted to say (sort of belatedly, I guess) thanks for the cider and I had a good time talking with you. 4 hours with only like 2 awkward silences is pretty impressive!” I don’t want to look desperate and look like I’m latching on to her despite our date not being like the greatest thing in existence. Any helpful advice?

You’re worrying too much. She’s waiting for you to make the next move… and also, don’t sweat it that the first date was awkward. You’re strangers! How can sparks fly in a Tim Hortons? lol.

So write back to her right now, and ask her what her favourite way to spend a Saturday is – then make it happen :)
