How do I get the black dye out?

So over the summer I had my hair dyed, demi-permanent at a salon. Blonde bangs,and the rest black. It’s been about 6 months,and I want the black out. The color has been fading a lot,and my hair is now dark brown but the roots are showing and it looks pretty bad. So how do I do it?

Should I try bleaching it? Or not?

and my hair is originally light brown.

Help!

p.s. I really don’t want to go to a salon if I don’t have to.

your best choice would be the salon. if you do it yourself, do not bleach it! you must use a hair stripper, and it may not work!!!. I just did that to my hair, and I was trying to go blonde, it came out dark redish brownish. the salon would be the best thing to do.

go to your local sallys or beauty suppliers and buy a stripping solition, but if I remember rightly you cant dye your hair after, for some time, but ask .
