How do I get people to stop calling me anorexic?

Im 5’7’’ and 108lb. I know thats a little under and I know I lost some weight (I was 140 at the end of last year) but seriously I eat and im not anorexic I just dont pig out and I dont happen to like school lunch. So seriously how do I make everyone stop nagging me? “your to skinny” “u need to eat” “u shud see a doctor” “y are you ruining your body” “your an anorexic freak” and so on. Honestly my friends my peers my teachers, coaches, guidance counselors, nurse everybody. Its really startin to piss me off how can I make them stop! Thanks

yo - maybe you have an overactive thyroid? this can cause excessive weight loss an occurs when girls go through puberty. Can be explained by a blood test.

I used to be super thin - 5’10’’ and 52Kg. But I selectively ate - like you do - ie, I might eat breakfast and dinner but no lunch, or skip breakfast. Usually only ate 2 meals a day. while its true you don’t need 3 meals a day to continue to live, its much healthier to eat three. No shit your gonna be thin if you eat heaps less than other people!!! obviously your not anorexic, because you eat, but ‘selectively eating’ - ie, skipping meals… is not normal, or healthy… so your friends are probably reacting to that…

I guess you have to come to accept that people are idiots, and they are not comfortable with anyone who is not within their idea of the norm. As far as your coaches, counselors, teachers, nurses etc are concerned, perhaps a strong word from your parents is needed. They may be concerned, but if they do not back off, then perhaps your parents need to tell them to. As for the bullying that comes from your peers, that’s the same as bullying that is about anything really. Try standing up for yourself and telling people to back off. See where that gets you.

im the same way as you- im 6’ 1” and 120lbs. and I do pig out. im told thi is just because I have an abnomaly high metabolism. this means that everything you eat gose strait throught you, not much is acualy prossecced. if you are the same, you should tell your peers this, and if they continue then tell them that their concern is apreiciated, however their concern is now the problem, and theyneed to back off.
