How do I get over someone I can't stop loving?

So , I dated a guy for not very long actually but I loved him a lot , and I still do. I took him back after he cheated multiple times and he always did it again. We dont live that close together so we rarely see eachother , do you think that maybe he was cheating because I wasn’t around and hormones took over. Or is he a player? I’m dating someone new now , and I really like him , but I’m still inlove with my ex. He knows this and hates it too (new boyfriend). I feel as though this may be tearing apart mine and Dontrell’s relationship and I don’t know what to do. Should I take Mike back even though the chances are high, or is there a way I can get over Mike and stay with Dontrell? I really need help , and sorry if this ran a little long. Thanks<3
