How do I get my parents to trust me more?
Ok im 16, and my parents dont let me do anything. I barly get to do anything. SERIOUSLY! They have no reason to not trust me. I make straight A’s I’ve not really ever got in trouble at school, since I was like in 5th grade. Im afraid to tell my dad bout my bfs. My parents dont let me ride in the car with any of my friends who drive. I have to come straight home after track practice.I can only visit my friends that are girls. I’ve never asked but I doubt I would be able to go on a date. I dont know why they do this to me. Its soo imbarrassing! does anyone have any suggestions? I mean a curfew of 9 would be great seriously but I cant even do that!
what superfresh said.. & you’re 16, a lot of 16 year olds have babies now, they should be proud that you don’t do any of the bad things that most kids do do now, you should atleast ask them for a chance to go out with friends and those other things.. fun mail me for more. =]
Ok, well all I can suggest is you sit down and talk to your parents about your freedom, if you are mad because you dont have any, I would consider you telling them about your achievments in life, and point out your flaws, and your good points, let them know you understand where they are coming from.. anyways.. goodluck.. :]
