How do I get my parents to let me get a pircing?

Well my mom said yes with no hesitations when I asked, but my boyfriend’s cousin’s mom didn’t want him to get a peircing. He really wanted an eyebrow peircing, so he gave up a hobby his mom didn’t really like. I think if you compromise with her, she might give in =] If there are any video games you play or shows you watch that she doesn’t really like you playing or watching, tell her if you can get a peircing, you will stop playing the game or watching the show. That’s what my boyfriend’s cousin did. He gave up World of Warcraft [lol] and she got him the peircing =] Goodluck =D

Well prove to your mom that you’ll be responsible with the piercing and that you’ll take care of it, more importantly show her how you’ll be responsible with the piercing like making sure its clean and that it doesn’t get infected overall you want to prove to her that your responsible enough to get one and take care of it :)I hope your mother lets you get it ;)

I just told my mom that if she didnt take me I was going to get it at an unsafe place and that if they got infected it was going to be her fault because I tried talking to her about it and doing things d right way..

Please don’t do what she did. She is basically forcing her mother to get her a piercing not to mention the fact that she is trying to control the outcome of the decision. Its not her mothers fault that she got a piercing in the wrong place and it got infected. Its her fault for not doing it in the right place with a professional piercer. Since when did parents let their kids go off and have piercings done in illegal places?

hey I am a very broad minded guy but I know where your mums coming from, if you really want to do this go and have a long chat with your mum tell her how you feel, and that you have thought long and hard about it and you are doing it for all the right reasons and not because every one else is and your not being a sheep and following the flock and be mature about it and if she really doesnt want you to do it till your 18 respect her wishes she will respect you so much more for having a mature attitude and you might be surprised and she may say okay good luck by the way if you were my daughter I would take you to have it done but thats me laid back and easy going.

mabey you can tell her that if you dont take care of it is able to close by itself and tell her that you would use all the right stuff on it so it dosent get infected. my because got a bellybutton piercing and the next day she scrapped her arm (very lightly on the fence and she told me it hurt more than the piercing)!

Well you could get those fake piercings, they are usually at places like Spencers, Hot topic , and I think Zumez has ‘em to
