How do I get my 3 year old daughter off the bottle?

My daughter know how to drink from a cup know how to sip from a straw. I do not let her drink from the bottle all day. Then night time comes and the only way she will go to bed is the bottle if not she up almost all night I can let her cry a sleep but when I do that she up until 2am. I stand in her room and when she gets out of bed I put her back to bed but I need my sleep. Then there is the locking her in her room until she cry herself to sleep and thats really hard for me to listin to what should I do??? I need help!

I just got my three year old off the bottle, had no choice because he kept biting through the nipples. Instead of giving him a bottle when he cried I would bring him a cup of milk. He didn’t want it at first but realized that was all he was going to get. Now he doesn’t ask for anything unless he is really thirsty.

What do you put in the bottle?

I started to put water, first. Then I went to tea (not sweetened) and then I switched to tea (extremely long scalded and quite bitter).

My kids then refused the bottle.

she is just 3 ma mama use to tell I stop using bottle at d age of 5 though I don’t belive her…lol…just let her be she wil get over it.

I jut went through that with my 3 yr old. it is hard listening to the scraming and crying all through the night but jut ignore her when she is asking for it. what ido is tell her to go lay down and I will get it right now. when she lays down and is still asking for the bottle tell her if she stops then you will give it to her. then after a while she will give up an stop askng for it. I still go through it every once in a while. I got a 2 yr old and a 8 month old that still use the bottle. good luck.
