When my girls were small they both had asthma and they had a constant cough. I’m sure you know this… you should never smoke in the home with the child. I’m not sure what your location is but if you are using forced air or heat in your home (most of us do) it can be causing the baby to have a cough. The one thing that realy seemed to help my girls was a cool mist humidifier. They slept with one in their bedrooms untill they were at least 9-10. The are rather inexpensive, and you can purchase one at any Wal-Mart or K-mart. ~~many blessings~~ and some people aren’t lucky enough to have health insurance to run to the doctor each time someone gets a cough…maybe we should all try to be more compassionate and helpful toward one another…

Take him to the doctor, they should be able to see what’s causing the coughing.
