How do I get blonde dye out of my hair? I did it right before christmass and it looks like garbage . my hair color was a dark brown before how do I resore it to its original color?
blonde dye doesn’t work like dye. it removes the color from the hair shaft. be careful when you get your dye. if you had dark brown hair go for a LIGHT brown. your hair will really absorb the dye now. also DO NOT get any color that has ash in it. such as light ash brown. ash has a lot of green tones in it and your hair will look kind of gross green/brown in the light. maybe a light golden brown. golden has more red tones. just remember…go light, then you can always go darker. and follow the directions, do the test strand. good luck. I speak from experience.
that’s correct. once blonde, it will suck up the color like a sponge. I have a friend who went blonde and didn’t like it. she put her original color (medium brown) on it and her hair turned almost black. not a cute look. really, go lightest brown or darkest blonde. and remember, no ash, you’ll look seaweed green/brown. lol.
well since it’s blonde now, you can pretty much dye it any color you want. just get some brown hair dye, it’s like drawing a giant brown picture on a yellow piece of paper; it’s definitely going to show up.

you can’t get blonde out of your hair because your hair is stripped of all its color. the only way is to add color by dying it a darker shade.
