How do I get a song on the radio?

Ok soo my boyfriend made a f*king ahmazing remix of miley cyrus’s party in the u.s.a. with 50 cent. and I really want to see if it could be put on the radio. Is there any possible way to do that? or maybee like make a a social site and put that song on there. I don’t know. It is such a great song I think people should hear it. Can homemade songs be put on the radio. because my boyfriend is a dj soo obviously the song isnt gonna sound like sht. any ideaass?

If he never gained the rights to the songs for commercial use, they cannot be put on the air. If he wants them aired, he’ll need to write to the record companies (since they’re both current) and ask for permission to air his remix on the radio. However, they’re going to want royalties up front (usually in the hundreds of thousands range) in order to give permission.

hmm not sure on that one since its not 100% his creation since its a remix. But I know a local rapper around here just went and talked to a couple of the stations around town and got them to play a song or two of his. But they were wall original 100% his work.
