Unfortuanlty majority of the people who talk about emo and majority of the kids who call themselves emo still have no idea what the word actually means and this obviously includes you emo is NOT a colour and its only recently been called a hairstyle my kids who dont know what the word means if you want to look like what every other “emo” kids does (even though they have NO idea what the word emo actually means) dye it black you dont dye it “emo” you dye it black and as you dont alreday know that DOESNT MAKE you “emo”

No hair color OR style will make you “look emo”. If you think it will, you’ll just be called a poser. The color of your hair has NOTHING to do with stereotypes. Dye/style your hair however you want to.
