How do I convince my parents to buy a dog for me?

I do nat have a dog . I tried telling them that I will take care of it but that dint work. Please help me :(

thanks but I haved tried doing all the things said but it dint work like I get good grades in school,and I also tried to keep my room clean but it dint work. any other ideas please. thank you

WHy don’t you try to be more responsible at home, at school (improve your grades) or do anything that’ll make your parents feel good about you, and which shows your responsibility , then ask them again. Or, you can wish for a dog for your birthday or for xmas. Hope this helped. and Good luck ; hope you get a dog soon ! :)

well I have just suceeded in covincing my parents to let me have a hamster, a bit different from a dog but…oh well! wot usually happens is we argue about it and I get told off, so wot I did is write them a note / letter telling them why I should be allowed a hamster e.g. I’ll clean it out, I’ll pay for its upkeep,I have enough time to look after it etc and it worked! I left it for them in the morning and when I came home from school my mum said she would get me one for xmas!!! Try it!

Well you should tell them that you feel that you can be responsible enough for a dog… and you will look after it… even say to them that you will help pay for one? It worked with me!
