how do I convence my parents to get me a laptop???

I want a laptop for my birthday and I have already asked them but they keep saying “you dont need one right noew”. my birthday is in 3 months!!!

Prove to them that you are responsible and that you will use the computer responsibly , tell them the advantages of having one , like it could be easier to do school work. Good luck.

Tell them what you would use the laptop for. Come up with reasons that involve school and homework because then they would want you to get good grades so they would get you the laptop possibly.

I had the same problem about a month ago. I just told them that it would help me out a lot with my school work like taking notes on it instead of writing them down and losing them you can save them to your computer and typing papers and things like that. Just tell them that you are a responsible person and it’ll be a huge help with school so that they might take it into consideration. it worked for me and got the laptop on christmas hope I helped some.
