How do I compomise on going out?

I am dating a guy who is obsessed with going to this particular bar. Apparently it is what all typical guys do. We have been dating for over a year and I told him that this constant bar thing is starting to piss me off. I told him that we needed to come to a compromise about the amount of times he goes. He agreed to our compromise. There is just one problem he never follows the compromise. He says that he goes there to see his friends. He tells me I am a nag and I have him by a rope. He gets mad at me for yelling at him when he constantly breaks the compromise. He doesn’t see it as a big deal. I tell him it hurts me but nothing changes.

If things aren’t going well, and it sounds like they aren’t, and you can’t figure out a way to date together, then best bet is to find somebody who won’t go to bars all the time & would rather spend they’re time with you.

Besides…what is he doing at the bar? Odds are, looking around at other women. Imho, I’d dump him & find somebody that will treat you better.
